Bloomington, IN – Security Guard

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage conflicts, monitor surveillance systems, and respond to emergencies with professionalism and composure.

THIS IS A OVERNIGHT POSITION AND THIS POSITION IS REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS!!!

Responsibilities

• • Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
• • Utilize CCTV systems to observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents.
• • Enforce rules and regulations while ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
• • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
• • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
• • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
• • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries.

Experience

• • A valid security certificate or relevant training is preferred.
• • Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is advantageous.
• • Strong skills in conflict management and de-escalation techniques.
• • Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention strategies is a plus.
• • Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
